Course cost calculator · in rupees
Put in how long your course is and how much it needs to do. You will see what it costs four ways: built by us, by another studio in Pakistan, by a studio outside Pakistan, or by a team of your own. Every figure says where it came from, and you can change the ones that are yours.
If you already know the minutes, put them in. If you only have the material it will be built from, start there and we will work the minutes out.
Your course: about 40 minutes of eLearning.
A classroom session is counted one minute for one minute, which is how the reference calculator below treats it. eLearning often runs shorter than the session it replaces, so this is the careful end.
A slide deck converts at about 2.2 slides a minute. Dense slides need more screens once they are built, so we add a quarter.
A script converts at 150 spoken words a minute.
Screens convert at about 0.9 of a minute each. Our pricing guide puts 40 to 50 screens at about 40 minutes of learning.

The more a course responds to the person taking it, the longer it takes to build. Pick the level closest to what you have in mind.
Within Level 1, which is closest?
Hours of work to build one finished hour
At this level your course is about 53 hours of work to build.
These come from the best known study of eLearning build time, Chapman Alliance, which surveyed 249 organisations. Each level runs from a lower end to an upper end: Level 1 from 49 to 125 hours for each finished hour, Level 2 from 127 to 267, Level 3 from 217 to 716. The bars show the sub-level you picked.
The hours cover everything from the first conversation to the last test on the LMS: design, writing, graphics, building, reviews and changes.

Count the courses you expect to build this year. The more you need, the lower our price per course, and the clearer it becomes what a team of your own would cost.
Built by us: PKR 352,500 a course.
Your own eLearning team
If you would build it in-house, put in your team. The figures filled in are an example; change them to yours.
Your team: PKR 350,000 a month, PKR 4,200,000 a year.
Your team’s monthly salaries, times twelve, shared across the courses you need. A salaried team is paid every month whether it builds one course or ten.
The example of 4 people at an average of PKR 87,500 a month sits inside what the 2026 salary guides show for these roles in Pakistan. Level 3 is not priced for an in-house team: adaptive paths and 3D simulation need programmers and 3D artists.
Salary guides: PNY Trainings, June 2026 (designers, PKR 50,000 to 100,000 mid-level); Indeed Pakistan, July 2026 (video editors, about PKR 52,500); PayScale 2026 (mid-career developers, about PKR 98,000).

Zillion eLearning’s estimate of the Pakistani market: at least half as much again as our price. Studios here rarely publish prices, so a quote of your own is the best check.
Priced in US dollars, so the rupee figure moves with the exchange rate.
Zillion eLearning. Our published price per seat hour for the level and sub-level you chose: Level 1 PKR 325,000, 352,500 or 380,000; Level 2 PKR 418,500, 481,750 or 545,000; Level 3 PKR 650,000, 787,500 or 925,000. A seat hour is about 40 minutes at Levels 1 and 2 and about 30 minutes at Level 3. Bundles: 5% off each course from 3 courses, 10% from 5, 15% from 10. Excluding GST; income tax withheld under Clause 153(1)(b).
A studio in Pakistan. Zillion eLearning’s own estimate of the local market, 50% above our standard price. It is an estimate, not a survey.
A studio outside Pakistan. The average of two published rates: a US studio’s price per finished hour for your level and sub-level (Level 1 USD 12,000 to 15,000, Level 2 USD 15,000 to 30,000, Level 3 USD 25,000 to 50,000) and an offshore studio at USD 35 an hour for the build hours in step 2.
A team of your own. Your team’s monthly salaries from step 3, for a year, shared across your courses. Your authoring software is added if you entered it. Level 3 needs a specialist team and is not priced here.
LearningSim, 2024. Offshore rates: vendor pricing guides, 2025 to 2026. Salaries as in step 3.
Two prices are only comparable when they cover the same things. Open each question to see why it matters and how we answer it.
Narration is one of the larger costs in a course, and some quotes leave it out.
With us: AI voiceover is included in the price. A human voiceover is PKR 21,600 for each seat hour, and we show it separately.
Reviews by your subject experts are where timelines and budgets usually stretch. Know the number before you sign.
With us: Two rounds of changes are included in the price.
Know what you are paying for: the finished course, or the files it was built from.
With us: You receive the finished course as a SCORM package, ready to load on your LMS. Source files are not part of the delivery.
Ask which SCORM version the course is built to, and whether it has been tested on an LMS like yours.
With us: Yes. Our SCORM packages run on any LMS, whether that is ZillionLMS or the one you already have.
A second language can add a large share to a course. Ask for it as its own line.
With us: Urdu is priced on top of the course, and the price depends on the content. We quote it as its own line.
A price in dollars moves with the exchange rate between the quote and the invoice. A price without GST is not the whole cost.
With us: Every price on this page is in rupees and excludes GST. Income tax is withheld under Clause 153(1)(b).
