The Challenge
TechReq Inc. wanted to develop eLearning modules for their Technical Recruitment client. Their client was facing issues in hiring technical personnel as they were corporate executives and lacked the requirement expertise to access and hire a technical resource. They approached TechReq Inc. for their help. TechReq Inc. approached us through our website.
TechReq Inc. had the content available in PDF files. They provided Instructor-led Tranings (ILTs) while their client requested for eLearning solution to train their internal staff. Zillion eLearning took on the challenge to convert their ILTs to eLearning. We were provided with PDF files to provide with a turnkey eLearning solution. A total of 5 modules had to be developed.

The Solution
Zillion eLearning created very simple but interactive eLearning solution for TechReq. We added gamified quizzes in the modules to keep the learners challenged and involved. Each module consisted of 25 slides along with quizzes in between. We created a custom interface with self-explanatory instructions for the learners to navigate. We created illustrations and used graphical elements with key learning points.
Our creative development department used the Articulate Storyline 3 to produce the modules and created custom characters along with the illustrations. A very simple, unique and user-friendly interface was developed with instructions to guide them through. The background and interface color scheme were created keeping in mind TechReq Inc.’s client’s branding guidelines. The images used were optimized without conceding their quality.
Quizzes were created within the content slides to test the learners’ knowledge. Multiple choices questions along with True/False statements were used. The learners could not navigate ahead of the module without completing the existing slide. The modules were responsive as well as SCORM-compliant. A self-explanatory menu was designed for the learners.
The Results
TechReq Inc. client saw a healthy change in their recruiting department after they launched these modules. They eventually asked TechReq Inc. to put them in direct contact with Zillion. Since then we have produced 30 different modules for them. Their employees loved the courses and they saw an increase in employee engagement and retention. Quizzes within slides proved to be very motivating. Voice over kept learners engaged. They hired over 100 technical professionals for their partners after going through these modules.
